Seinen Ursprung hat das Handballspiel in den skandinavischen Ländern. Handball ist ein schnelles Laufspiel mit ständig wechselnden Situationen. Gefordert sind Konzentration und Reaktionsfähigkeit sowie Gewandtheit und Kreativität.
Im Unterschied zum Vereinshandball wird in der Universität Mixed gespielt (nach den Regeln des Allgemeinen Deutschen Hochschulsportverbandes), d.h. Männer und Frauen trainieren gemeinsam und spielen dann auch die Spiele in gemischten Teams mit angepassten Regeln.
Der Fairness halber erwarten wir eine regelmäßige Teilnahme an allen Kursen und behalten uns vor, Euch bei mehrmaligem Nichterscheinen gegen Leute auf der Warteliste auszutauschen. Bitte tragt euch daher auch unbedingt auf die Warteliste ein. Wir kontaktieren Euch, wenn ein Platz frei wird.
Jedermann - Spiel & Spaß am Mittwoch
Dieser Kurs richtet sich an alle die Spaß am Ballspiel haben und die Handballregeln sicher beherrschen. Es werden die Grundlagen trainiert und viel gespielt. Auch alternative Spielformen wie Onetouch oder Pfostenball werden hier angeboten. Dieser Kurs ist u.a. ideal geeignet um wieder ins Handballspiel einzusteigen und ggf. zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt am Fortgeschrittenentraining teilzunehmen

Handball as a sport has its origin in the Scandinavian countries. It is characterized by fast changing game situations and physical tacklings. Therefore, high concentration and responsiveness as well as agility and creativity are needed.
In contrast to club handball, the university plays mixed (according to the rules of the German University Sports Association), i.e. men and women train together and then play the games in mixed teams with adapted rules.
For the sake of fairness, we expect regular participation in all courses and reserve the right to replace you with people on the waiting list if you fail to show up several times. Therefore, please be sure to sign up for the waiting list. We will contact you when a place becomes available.
Everybody - Fun & Games on Wednesday
This course is aimed at everyone who enjoys playing ball and has a good command of the rules of handball. The basics are trained and there is a lot of playing. Alternative forms of play such as one-touch or post ball are also offered here. This course is, among other things, ideal for getting back into the game of handball and, if necessary, taking part in advanced training at a later date
